Marc-Antoine Barrois GANYMEDE Eau de Parfum, 100 ml

GANYMEDE was designed by the perfumer Quentin Bisch and the fashion designer Marc-Antoine Barrois. This collaboration resulted in an elegant and unexpectedly harmonious composition of mandarin, violet, Italian strawflower and suede. The masterpiece was named after a mysterious Jupiter moon that was discovered in 1610 by none other than Galileo. Enchanted by its mysteriously shining surface, Galileo chose the name Ganymede, which goes back to Greek mythology. Ganymedes was considered the "most beautiful of all mortals", which is why he drew the envy of the gods.

The Eau de Parfum inspires with classic leathery notes that are enhanced by a new, flowing elegance. The leather nuances are rounded off by violets, while mandarin provides a rich liveliness right from the start. Italian strawflower aromas form an interesting contrast, as they make the scent harmonious and tender. The entire composition plays with the concept of opposites and lets the aromas appear partly mineral, partly slightly salty.

All scent notes are perfectly coordinated and help each other to emerge from the bouquet. Similar to a perfectly fitting cashmere jacket, the fragrance plays around the body and engages it in a stimulating conversation.
